About Us
Rachel N. Geiger, RN, MSHCA, CPHQ, MHP, CLNC Ms. Geiger has over 17 years experience in the health care industry in a variety of settings. The settings include managed care, bedside care, physicians' office and management. She has been professionally trained to review medical-related cases with attorneys through both the Vicki Milazzo Institute and in the various career paths in which she has been involved. Ms. Geiger is knowledgeable on standards of care and has the ability to identify deviations from those standards. She has reviewed medical records from both case management and quality analyst perspectives and has the ability to identify areas of concern and missing items. Her training allows her to assess and critique health care. She also has experience working with NCQA and other government regulatory agencies. Her knowledge also includes insight into the inner workings of managed care organizations, hospitals and physicians’ offices. She has worked with all provider types (hospital, ancillary and professional) with expertise on educating them about managed care and claims and assisting in issue identification. Ms. Geiger also has clinical experience working with pediatric patients with a variety of medical concerns including cancer, heart conditions, sickle cell and other acute and chronic conditions. Educationally, Ms. Geiger is a Bachelor’s prepared Registered Nurse (RN) with a Master’s of Science in Health Care Administration (MSHCA). She is currently certified as a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), a Managed Health Professional (MHP) and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC). She has also recently begun work on her Juris Doctorate (JD). Ms. Geiger is married with four children and her family resides near Toledo, Ohio. 
Krissa C. Hensley, Paralegal
Ms. Hensley is a graduate of Stautzenberger College, class of 2008, with an Associates Degree in Paralegal studies. During her time in school, she was the Vice-President of the Student Paralegal Organization; an organization that helped the community with various projects and allowed the students to network in the legal community. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA. Ms. Hensley has worked for an insurance company for 18 years, and is licensed in Life, Accident and Health insurance. She was an Office Manager for 12 years, overseeing 20 agents and maintaining a call center. She then became the Public Relations Director, contacting various groups and organizations to continue their relationship with the company. She has won 4 convention trips, was #3 in the company in 2004, and continues to market the valuable benefits offered to all members. Ms. Hensely is efficient and knowledgeable in Quickbooks, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. She is currently continuing her education in the Accounting program at Stautzenberger College. |
